2010 PRODUCTION SALE
KANSAS MEAT GOAT ASSOCIATION 7TH ANNUAL PRODUCTION SALE October 16, 2010 – 1:00 p.m. CELEBRATION CENTRE – LYONS, KS You must be a member of KMGA in order to consign. If you are not already a member, please visit our website, www.kmgaonline.net for an application, or contact our Secretary and one will be mailed to you. Our sale will feature only registered meat goats. A copy of the registration papers must be submitted at the time of consignment. If the registration has been applied for, but papers not received at the time of consignment, a copy of the application and sire & dam’s registrations must be provided. Complete consignments must be postmarked by September 10, 2010. NO LATE CONSIGNMENTS will be accepted and sale will be limited to the FIRST 100 GOATS CONSIGNED. Fees: Consignment fee is $5 per goat. There will be a $20 per stall fee, you determine how many 6’ X 6’ stalls are needed for your consignments. The stall fee does not include bedding. Bedding is available from the facility at the consignors expense. No straw is allowed. The stall fee and consignment fee are NON-REFUNDABLE. Sales commission is 15% and there will be no "No Sales" allowed; you may buy your animal(s) back, but you will pay commission on the last bid amount. Each farm may consign up to 6 head, of which no more than 2 may be bucks. Ear tag/tattoo numbers must match registration papers. Any animal that appears obviously ill or otherwise compromised may be rejected. An on-line 3 generation catalog, with photos, will be posted on the KMGA website. Properly formatted photos may be submitted to mcguire_annem@yahoo.com at time of consignment. Please see the KMGA website for advertisement rates in the catalog, all ads must be in a publish ready format. The printed version of the catalog will be black & white without photos. NO ANIMALS WILL BE LOADED OUT UNTIL AFTER THE SALE IS CONCLUDED. Original registration papers and payment to sellers will be disbursed within 10 business days after the sale; only those who settle with cash will be given the papers the day of the sale. Any other documentation/all guarantees are between the buyer & seller. The Kansas Meat Goat Association (KMGA) is not and cannot be held responsible.
